Here at our comfortable home, a converted Edwardian manor house in Dartford, we warmly welcome those in need of nursing and residential care. That could be for a few weeks of respite, or a more long-term stay. We’re very close to the junction of the M25 with the A2, and there’s plenty of on-site parking. .

Our house is a former Edwardian residence set with beautiful period features that have been maintained despite the conversion. Light and spacious, our home has beautiful views of the nearby countryside.

There are plenty of areas to relax or spend time with visiting family. They can get their hair or nails done in our salon, settle down with a book in our quiet lounge, or join in with an activity.
Enjoy the outdoors
Outside, residents can connect with nature by tending to the flowers in the garden, or taking a gentle stroll. We are surrounded by lovely landscaped gardens.
Fresh, healthy food
A great food and dining experience can be the highlight of everyone’s day. Mealtimes are a chance for our residents to get together and chat over varied and tasty dishes, freshly cooked by our in-home chefs.
Encouraging mobility and independence
We run weekly music and movement classes, which are gentle exercise classes to help residents keep fit. From the comfort of their armchair, residents can still maintain a healthy level of fitness.
Celebrating special occasions
We do our best to accommodate families who’d like to host private events like birthday parties in our home. We’ll just need to know in advance, and we can arrange catering for an extra fee.

We have great links with our local community. We’ll help you stay in touch with your own circle of friends and interests, and you’ll be able to join in with what’s going on locally
We’re very close to the junction of the M25 with the A2, and nearby station at Dartford and Farningham Road that serve London, Gravesend, Dover and Canterbury.
Activities at Broad Oak Manor
There’s no typical day at Broad Oak Manor, we arrange plenty to do, both at the home and out and about. We provide a variety of enjoyable activities for all residents, including those with limited mobility.
These include:
- Arts and crafts, baking and flower arranging
- Live performances from musicians and local singers
- quizzes, puzzles and games
- Pet therapy and visiting animals
- Gentle exercise classes
- Themed events and open days
