Hannah went to mainstream schools, and as the only disabled child, she was included in everything, aside from PE. She found para-sport at 12 years old. Hannah was introduced to wheelchair basketball through a boy at school, and through the basketball team, a whole world of disability sport. She tried wheelchair rugby, seated discus and wheelchair tennis, before finding wheelchair racing at 15 years old. Hannah loved the freedom and independence that the sport gave her, and quickly decided to concentrate solely on racing.
Hannah is a five-time Paralympic Champion, 12-time World Champion and World Record holder in T34 100m, 200m, 400m, 800m and 1,500m.
Outside of work, Hannah has worked in TV presenting, with her own slot on BBC Countryfile in 2019, and her own film on The One Show.
