Richard Beckwith is a dentist providing a range of treatments, including minimally-invasive smile makeovers and cosmetic dentistry, to our community of patients at Bupa Dental Care Worthing.

Training and qualifications

Richard graduated from the University of Sheffield in 2012, gaining national recognition by being awarded first prize in the Premier Awards. He continued his commitment to excellence and education by completing an MSc in Advanced Restorative Dentistry from the University of Manchester, which he achieved with merit.

Since then, Richard has gone on to undertake research published in the International Journal of Oral and Maxillofacial Implants.

After passing his board exams Richard had the privilege of working in an innovative practice in Bermuda where his interest in digital dentistry took off. Upon returning to the UK, Richard has brought digital workflows to our practice here in Worthing and loves sharing his knowledge and skills with colleagues.

Through his training in orthodontics and digital smile design, Richard enjoys carrying out minimally invasive smile makeovers often combining Invisalign aligners with whitening and composite bonding procedures.

In his early career Richard worked in a sedation referral practice where he developed his calm and friendly approach that helps put even very anxious patients at ease as soon as they enter the surgery.

When he is not working, Richard enjoys climbing, scuba diving and getting outdoors.
