Helping your team steer clear of the flu
Over the last 10 years we have been helping businesses in the UK look after their employees with our corporate flu vaccinations. Our business flu vaccination programmes aim to help your productivity during flu season, by protecting your team against the spread of the virus.
There are two ways to get vaccinated
1. At your workplace
You can have a trained nurse come to your workplace to administer the vaccinations with minimum disruption.
2. Visit a pharmacy
Your employees can also have the option to visit a pharmacy for their vaccination. Flu vouchers can be used in a number of participating pharmacies nationwide.
Learn more about our vaccination programme
We will provide a flu programme toolkit to help you set up and roll it out amongst your employees with ease. It will include materials to help engage with your team about flu vaccinations.
Our online booking tool will allow your employees to book their appointments at their convenience.
Our team will provide an uptake report at the end of your session/s of all employees who managed to book, those that attended, did not arrive and walk-ins.
Our nurse can administer 52 vaccinations in a half day and 104 in a full day. With the new infection prevention measures we are putting in place, we're committed to maintaining a safe environment for our customers, their employees and Bupa clinicians.
When you take out our workplace vaccination programme, employees will also be able to access our 24/7 helpline for any flu vaccination questions or advice.
How to book your vaccination programme
To purchase more than 250 flu vouchers or to use our complete voucher service, please use the request form.
The team will get back to you within 2 working days to discuss your requirements and next steps.
Please note: the flu vaccine does not cover the strains of coronavirus (COVID-19).
What happens on the day?
The nurse will arrive 30-45 mins before the start time so they can be shown the fire exits, toilets and prepare their kit.
The vaccinations begin promptly at the scheduled time.
At the end of the day the nurse will pack up their kit and return them to the flu team.
Morning flu sessions start at 9am in London and 9.30am outside of London. Afternoon sessions start approximately 1.30pm and finish at 5.30pm.
52 employees can be seen in a half day clinic, which last 3.75 hours (3.5 hours + 15 minute break) 104 employees can be seen in a full day session, which lasts 8 hours (7 hours + 2 X 15 minute breaks and a 30 minute lunch)
We ask clients to estimate the number of vaccines, when completing the booking form. The organiser will communicate with the employees and will have an exact quantity of vaccines required a few days in advance. Bupa will call the site to confirm the amount required, once the number has been confirmed we ll send the exact quantity. We do charge for the number sent, as the interruption to the cool storage of vaccines means they can t be used again.
We send an online toolkit that contains launch materials, communication material, marketing material, medical documentation, posters and checklists. This will ease the administration required for the flu programme.
The online booking system is a specific tool to help companies/employees scheduling appointments. This helps to make sure each employee is booking their own appointment at a suitable time to the site they are based. They ll receive a confirmation email to confirm registration and their appointment, this includes the room details of the clinic. The day before the clinic, an email is sent to the site contact, with the scheduled consent form.
Couriers will deliver on the mornings Monday and Tuesday (before 9am). All other working days the equipment will be delivered the day before
If ordering up to 250 flu vouchers, please use our website to place your order and pay via credit card.
Otherwise complete the correct electronic form.
We’ll post the vouchers out within two days of confirmation for bulk orders. There’s no minimum order for vouchers and no postage charge.
