The 10 October is World Mental Health Day. This years’ theme reminds us that mental health is a universal human right.
How can mental health affect businesses?
Sadly, mental health still carries a stigma. This can make talking about it tough. Line managers play a key role in creating safe spaces for employees to chat openly about how they’re feeling.
When employees feel confident in talking about their mental health, it can mean they get the support they need, when they need it. This could improve engagement and prevent long term absence for mental health conditions.
Whether you have mental health cover with us or not, employees can also access support and guidance on our mental health hub or at JAAQ.org. We’ve also recently launched Workplace Mental Health Advantage, and our partnership with JAAQ. Please see the support materials below to find out more.
Download the World Mental Health Day 2023 client email (OFT, 0.06MB) to share the toolkit with your clients.
