Introducing our brand-new dental allowance
We’re always looking for ways to help make health happen.
That’s why we’re proud to reveal our brand-new dental allowance. From 1st August 2024, at renewal you and anyone on your cover will get access to an appointment with Bupa Dental Care and a £300 allowance towards restorative treatment. That’s every year, for everyone on the policy. It’s a little something extra to smile about.
What’s included?
One dental appointment for everyone covered on your policy, every policy year.
These appointments will be available at any Bupa Dental Care practice. It can be used for a new patient examination, a routine check-up or an emergency appointment.
If the dentist recommends treatment to keep your teeth and gums healthy and free from pain, you’ll have a £300 allowance to cover the cost of restorative treatment. This includes things like:
- Fillings
- Crowns
- Bridges

How can I book an appointment?
From 1st August 2024, at renewal you and anyone on your cover will get access to an appointment. Here’s how you can book:
- Choose where you’d like your appointment – close to your home, work or somewhere else. Visit bupa.co.uk/dental-care for a full list of Bupa Dental Care practices.
- Book the appointment directly with the practice online, over the phone or in person. There’s no need to call Bupa Insurance and pre-authorise the appointment or restorative treatment.
- Give the practice your details. Let them know you have Bupa health insurance and provide your Bupa membership number. This can be found on your policy documents.
