What is your Picture of Health?

04 June 2024

Our partnership with Paralympics GB

Since becoming the official healthcare partner of the ParalympicsGB in 2022, we’ve been on a mission to strengthen the exceptional skill and determination of our Paralympians and Para-athletes. From funding athletes to keeping them feeling happy and healthy, we’re helping them reach the top of their game ahead of the Paris 2024 Paralympic Games and beyond.

But more than that, we’re here to inspire a nation of children and adults of all abilities. Pushing the idea of what’s possible every single day, including supporting people on their own journeys.

Picture of Health

To celebrate that health looks and feels different for everyone, we’ve partnered with world-renowned photographer Annie Leibovitz to capture what health means to six of our amazing Para athletes and Paralympians through a striking series of photos!

Their stories are not only about physical prowess but also about unparalleled determination, resilience, and the relentless pursuit of excellence.
Watch here to go behind the lens on Picture of Health with our six para-athletes from Australia, Spain, Poland, Chile, Mexico and the UK. View the inspiring Pictures of Health submitted from people all around the world to help spark conversations, challenge stereotypes and encourage us all to reflect on our view of health. “Working with ParalympicsGB gives us the unique opportunity to understand the needs of more people in society, ultimately reflecting the diverse needs of our customers. It’s important to celebrate our diversity and each of our differences, in order to make a tangible shift in perceptions of disability in our society. Together, we want to inspire the next generation to believe that anything is possible.” - Bupa Global & UK CEO Carlos Jaureguizar
