Bupa International named best international health insurer for third year running

Brighton-based Bupa International was named "Best International Private Medical Insurance Provider" last night at the Health Insurance Awards, the prestigious event held each year in London to recognise excellence in the health insurance industry. This is the third year running that Bupa International, the world’s largest international health insurer, has been named by intermediaries as the best in its field. It is also the eighth time since 1999 the company has won the award.
Commenting on the award, David Grint, Commercial Director at Bupa International and based at the company’s Russell Mews offices, said: "We are delighted to have been recognised by the industry as the best provider of international private medical insurance for the third year in a row. This accolade is testament to the hard work and dedication of everyone who works for Bupa International and recognises our desire as a company to lead the industry in terms of our product range and dedication to customer service."
Bupa also received two further awards at the leading health insurance event. The company was named Best Individual Critical Illness Provider, while Val Gooding, Bupa's former chief executive, who stepped down in April this year, was named Personality of the Year for her far-reaching work representing Britain's largest health and care provider on a global scale throughout her career.
