Bupa International wins new maritime deal with EMS

Bupa International, the world’s largest expatriate health insurer, has been awarded a major new maritime contract to provide medical cover for nearly 2,000 seafarers and their dependents operating for the Norwegian company, EMS Ship Management.
The EMS Maritime Plan has been specifically tailored by Bupa to meet the needs of the commercial shipping company, who are part of the Eitzen Group and manage 114 commercial ships. The comprehensive plan will now mean medical care for EMS seafarers and their dependents all year round, including cover such as maternity benefit.
