Bupa Health Insurance appoints new manager of Direct Company Sales

Bupa Health Insurance has announced the appointment of Charles Cohen as manager of its Direct Company Sales Centre.
Charles joins Bupa from Discovery Health Ltd in South Africa, where he was deputy general manager of the company’s Discovery Card service, temporary call centre, nursery call centre and 24-hour call centre.
Charles, who will be based at the company’s offices in Salford Quays, Manchester, will be responsible for developing Bupa’s existing company portfolio as well as the acquisition of new business.
Chris Bromilow, Bupa’s head of company sales, said: “Charles brings with him extensive experience of running large call centres and I am confident that his skills will be invaluable to Bupa in developing our direct company sales business, and to his team in helping them to develop their own careers within the industry.”
Speaking about his appointment, Charles said: “I am very pleased to be joining such an internationally well respected company. I admire the spirit and culture at Bupa and look forward to using my experience to develop the sales centre through conserving our current business relationships and attracting new business.”
